Thanksgiving Fun

The past month has been full and fun. We had our Halloween Party, went to Alexis' birthday party, went trick or treating and went to the zoo to trick or treat as well. Dora definitely got the idea this year about going around and saying trick or treat. She also still has candy in her bucket and every couple of days asks for a piece, either we give her too many sweets and she doesn't want the Halloween stuff or she just doesn't like to eat too much :)

This year we have so much to be thankful for 3 new cousins this year. Everyone is happy and healthy. We have good food and a warm house. Best of all we have the love for one another. All weekend long Dora would come up to me and whisper in my ear "I Love you, Mama" and give me a big hug. It touched my heart that she just wanted me to know she was thinking of me in large groups of people. Dora is at a wonderful age. She is telling knock, knock jokes and laughing very hard at them. She is telling stories about princess and kings and all different things. I can't wait to see how imagination develops. If someone would have told me the love a small child can bring to a home I would have never believed it. She truly brightens our days and our nights.

Over Thanksgiving we had a very busy weekend. We had dinner at Grandma Jo's, we went swimming, bowling for the first time, went to a hockey game and then traveled home to see Henry get baptized on Sunday. What a wonderful way to celebrate all that we have and are thankful for.
