Life and Such

If you read this blog you are special. Not because you will get anything magical from it, but you take the time to care enough about our world to spend time reading about the most precious gift we have ever been given, our Dora. This past weekend was wonderful we were able to spend time in Chicago with Bean and KT, we participated in a Walk for thier local Community Center, and had a great time. Dora is smittened with her aunt and uncle. She just loves spending time with them. She played games and laughed and had a great time. (Slide show below) When we left on Sunday, she was asleep, so she didn't get to give hugs and kisses, when she awoke we were almost in Milwaukee,(For the Non-Midwesterners, lets just say we were too close to home to turn back) and she cried and cried because she didn't get to say good bye. It was precious and simply fun to see her care so much. (I can say this now, but at the time a 3 year old screaming wasn't so fun) I share this because Monday was a very difficult day in our world. Over the weekend 2 of Julie's former athletes were killed in a car accident. Two very good 19 year olds were simply driving too fast at 3:30 in the afternoon and missed a turn. They were good kids and now they are gone. So friends take care, know that you are special, tell those around you you love them, and know that we appreciate you taking the time to care about us.
