Trip to Maryland

We spent this past weekend in the DC area. We flew to DC to assist Keith, Dorothy, and Ande with thier Spaghetti Fund raiser dinner. Ande is one of Dora's Gotcha sisters and we were in China together, and now they are in the process of adopting a 2nd little girl, Kaci. We were very fortunate to be able to spend some time with them and help them with thier event, and then be able to spend a great day being shown the Maryland Eastern Shore. We had a wonderful time, and Dora had a great time being able to spend some time with Ande. It took the two of them about 3 seconds to warm to each other and then they proceeded to play together for the entire time we were with them. We are so blessed to have wonderful travel mates who allow us to come and visit different parts of the country and spend time with them. This is now the 3rd of 7 families we have visisted. We also were able to spend some time in the DC area. The history teacher in me just loved this. Seeing the mall at night was simply chilling. The night time really makes you feel the loss and the sacrifice, the day helps you learn the story and take it all in. I was almost overwhelmed at times, I loved it and will be going back!
