Memorial Day

Many things happen in the life of a 2 year old. She gets into lots of stuff,goes to birthday parties, goes to parades, eats brats, goes to graduation parties, and all sorts of fun thing. It is just such fun watching her grow and interact. For those of you who don't know one sure sign summer is on the way is Bratfest, here in Madison. We know our daughter is a true Wisconsinite, because all she wanted to eat for 4 days has been a brat. Yes her Canadian Uncle Timmy would be so proud of her. We were able to see her baby sitter Allison Graduate from high school, we are now in the market for a new sitter, as A will be heading to college way too soon. She spent time at the parade, which she really enjoyed. I think it was mostly about the candy, but she did a nice job of waving her flag at the floats and people going past. Each day is a new adventure, a new phrase, a new little dance, but each one is a special treat, and we give thanks each day for the blessing that is our little girl. We are so proud of our little girl, and hope that we are able to keep this day as a fun one, but also as a remembrance of what it is special for, we give thanks to all of those who have served our nation, past, present, and future.
