Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all!!
What a wonderful week we have had spending time with family. We did our traditional Church and Chinese food on Christmas eve and spent some time at More Poppa's (Grandma's) house. This where Dora received her Dora Doll. She was so excited, her face was priceless the roof could have fallen in and Dora would not have cared, nor would Grandma care. I do not know which was more fun, watching Dora or my Mom's excitement with giving the gift. Dora was hugging her friend before she was out of the box. Then "Dora" in the box was funny as well. She is having tea parties and playing with her new friend. She is huge and Dora is unable to carry her, she just knocks her down and pulls her by her hair:) On Christmas day we spent the day at my sister's house with everyone playing and having a good time. We have been going between all of our houses for the past few days and just hanging out and playing with cousins. It is just amazing how different life is this Christmas, last year Dora didn't really understand much and this year she gets it all. Santa visiting was not so clear. Dora on Christmas morning did not want to go down stairs. She was a bit apprehensive about going down. Phil and I finally said we are going down and when you are ready come on down. About 20 min later she yelled down, here I come, like we were making sure the cost was clear, when she turned the corner by the Christmas tree she squealed with glee. All concerns were gone. Too Funny.

The photos are from this Christmas eve and last year. Our baby is gone she is officially a big girl. By the way she chose to wear her China outfit, what a beautiful way to celebrate.




The last picture is how our weekend ended. After all of the running and hustle and bustle, life is good laying next to Dad eating a peanut butter sandwich and watching Sound of Music
